A surveyor wishes to measure the distance from point A on one bank of a river to a point B on the opposite side. To do so, he stakes out a point C 45 meters from point A on the same side of the river. He then uses a transit and determines that the angle formed by segments AC and BC is 42°. What is the distance between the two points A and B across the river from one another?
