Tim made a circle graph to show how he spent his day yesterday. He worked for 8 hours. What part of his graph should be for work? I need help

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

We need a picture of the graph...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is no graph on my paper this is all what the paper said

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Oh okay....well then we'll have to look at it this way: There are 24 hours in a day.... 8 of which are spent working... so he spends 8/24 hours a day at work... Simplified down....he worked 1/3 of his day...so his circle graph should look like 1/3 or 33% of it is dedicated to work

thank you @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No problem!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are 24 hours in a day and 8 went to work 8/24 should be shaded

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8/25 can be reduced to 1/3 |dw:1372827848683:dw|
