OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

3

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

no

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

4 -1 = 3 but 1-4 = ?

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

Oh sorry I got dyslexic there. 1 - 4 = -3

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

ok, so all you have to do is add the digits, and the only reason you can do that is because is the same sqrt, so the sqrt stay the same so what is the answer

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

C

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

you dont add the sqrt, the sqrt stays the same

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

is not C

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

B

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

correct, remember if is would have different sqrt then you can no add, for example 2sqrt3+3sqrt2 (this equation you can not add)

OpenStudy (explainitlikeimfive):

Thanks

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

yw :)
