what is LaTex? And how do i use it?
\(\TeX\) is a computer typography system. \(\LaTeX\) is an extension to it. The most common use of these is for academic papers because it allows proper typesetting of the assorted scientific terms and math. On this web site it is used to do the math calculations and lots of colorful things. For example: \[\qquad\qquad\qquad\qquad\Large \int \limits_a^b\frac{\color{red}{x^2-7}}{\sqrt[3]{x^e-\cos^2x}}dx\]For more on how people use it for other things, see this: http://openstudy.com/updates/515f3e09e4b0115bc14d4e65
Oh, and you can right click the code others write to get the \(\TeX\) source and reuse it by putting it between \(\backslash[ \text{ and } \backslash]\) for separated equations with full height to items or \(\backslash( \text{ and } \backslash)\) for inline stuff that can scrunch down some parts of the math.
