Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y < -3x + 3 y < x + 2 (1, -5) (1, 5) (5, 1) (-1, 5)

OpenStudy (zale101):

there's an easy way of solving this question, but it takes time lol all u need to do check the answers by plugging the numbers offered by x and y, and if the equation is true, it's the right answer. Here, i'll do the first one for u.

ok

OpenStudy (zale101):

-5 < -3(1) + 3 -5 < 1 + 2 what do u think?

OpenStudy (zale101):

is it true, is -5 less than -3(1) + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no?

OpenStudy (zale101):

Try to find the numbers that is plugged into both inqualities and shows a true statement, ok :D
