The graph below represents which system of inequalities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. \[y \le -2x+3 y \le x+3\] B. \[y \ge -2 +3 y \ge x+3\] C. \[y \le -3+2 y \le -x+2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. y > -2x + 3 y > x + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well its a bold line so you know you can eliminate choice D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think you should do for this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk thats why im here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you tried solving the inequalities for y yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should triy solving for y then graphing using y = mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for b is it one equation or two? you only gave me one but the question ask for a system of equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, this thing combined it. b. \[y \ge -2x+3\] \[y \ge x+3 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by looking you can look at the slopes and see that one is negative and one is positive while the graphs says we are looking for both negative so look for a slope with both equations negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k thanks

no problem
