Since these two equations have the same left side, their right sides must be equal, which means 6=1. 6 is never equal to 1 for any value of x, so there are no solutions. Another method would be to subtract the second equation from the first. On the left side you would get 0 since the left sides are identical, and on the right side you would get 5, so 0=5. Again, this is never true. There are no solutions.
