graph inequality in a coordinate plane . x-1<0 THANK YOUUI

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you graph?\[x = 1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like lets say this problem was actual \[x - 1 = 0\] could you graph this the reason why i ask is because its the same principals but only with a "less then" sign so\[x = 1\] would look like this|dw:1372523102933:dw| now since we know the outline of the graph we add the "less then" sign in there and we will get \[x < 1\] since we have a less then we need a dotted line since its not equal to and we also need a shaded region
