The volume of a prism is equal to the area of the base times the height. Our base in this case is a triangle. The area of a triangle, recall, is one half the base times the height. So \[A_b=(1/2)10(12)=60 units^2\] Now, multiply by the height (20 feet) and you get \[V=(60ft^2)(20ft)=1200\]
