9/h+1>9??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we need more info we cant answer it off of those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all it says tho

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Hello, The first step to solving this is like any other equation. Inequalities and equations are both solved very similarly. \[\frac{ 9 }{ h } + 1 > 9\] The first step is subtracting that 1. So we have: \[\frac{ 9 }{ h } + 1 - 1 = 9 - 1 \rightarrow \frac{ 9 }{ h } > 8 \] The next step is multiplying by 9. (Since 9 is being divided, do the opposite.)

so 72?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Yes. h > 72. Good work!
