You graph a system of equations and get two lines that are parallel. Explain what this tells you about the: solution to the system the two equations the result if the system was solved algebraically

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

there is no solution if lines are parallel what does this tel you about the slopes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It tells us that there is no solution to the system

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because, the solution is the intersection of the two lines, so if they are parallel then there is no intersection and then there is no solution !
