OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

Can anyone explain to me graph of sin^-1 (sinx) from x = 0 to 5pi/2 ?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

I am getting confused in the intervals ahead of (0,pi/2)

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

sinx range doesnt go beyong \(\pm 1\)

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

*beyond

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

so the peak value of sin^-1 (sinx) would be sin^-1 (1) = 1.57

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

after pi/2, the sin funciton falls... so you would see a negative slope in arcsin(sinx) as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@rsadhvika is correct ! ;D

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin^-1(sint)=t, if -pi/2<t<pi/2 sin^-1(sinx)=x for -pi/2<x<pi/2 |dw:1372669811234:dw| |dw:1372669982460:dw|
