A long distance telephone company advertised the rates of 5 minutes for 85¢ and 10 minutes for $1.10. Use a linear equation to find the cost of a 25 minute phone call.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

1.10 - .85 = .25 well....I am not sure how to write it . 5 min. for .85 10 min. for 1.10 15 min. for 1.35 20 min. for 1.60 25 min. for 1.85 It seems that 5 min. is .85 and every 5 minutes after that is .25 more.
