Hey guys! I know that this is not a chat topic, but I couldn't find a chat topic. Is anyone here familiar with placement tests for middle/high school? I'm a homeschooler who is transferring to public school for 8th grade, but I really want to get into 9th grade so that I can be a grade ahead like I've always wanted to be. Anyways, can anyone give me an idea of what the placement tests are like? Thank you! -HS

Well i think the placement tests, test you on material you have learned, and material you also learned in your previous year(s). If you want to take a placement test to "skip" a grade, eight grade in your case, I think that they might test you on material from eight grade too, maybe even a little bit of ninth grade to verify if you are ready to "skip" 8th grade and move on to 9th grade.
-Again I am not 100% sure how they exactly work. Might want to wait for a few more replies, or do a little research of your own. :) But I hope this helps.

I am sure, there is going to be like a Math Placement Test, an English Placement Test, Science, etc. I am not sure either. But probably yes.
