A quadrilateral has two consecutive angles that measure 90° each. Which of the following quadrilaterals could have this property? i. square ii. rectangle iii. parallelogram iv. kite v. rhombus vi. trapezoid A. i, ii B. i, ii, iii C. i, ii, iii, iv D. i, ii, iii, v, vi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since each angle in square and rectangle has 90 degree measure Therefore options i, ii are correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

i and ii must have this property. iii may have this property since every rectangle is a parallelogram. v may have this property since a square is a rhombus and is also a parallelogram. vi may have this property since a trapezoid may have one single leg perpendicular to both bases.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

In other words, the only one that cannot have this property is iv, the kite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it between A and B

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Did you read my two responses above? Read them again carefully.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh its D

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The question is which of the following 6 quadrilaterals have these properties? Look what I wrote about iv, the kite.
