In any triangle, you only need one angle to determine if it is an obtuse, acute, or right triangle. For example, 110,50,20 degrees is an obtuse. We use 110 to name the triangle. Why cant we use 50 or 20?

OpenStudy (dan815):

obtuse triangle is a triangle that has an angle greather than 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But why do we use 110.

OpenStudy (dan815):

because then we know theres an angle greater than 90

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

cuz oly one angle wil be > 90 in any trianlge

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks bro
