1) Describe the structure of an atom. Include the names of all parts. 2) Why are atoms difficult to study? 3) What is inside the nucleus? 4) What keeps the nucleus together and why? 5) Define electromagnetic force. 6) Define an element. 7) How many elements are found naturally in the universe? 8) Name the most simple element. 9) Define atomic mass.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aye yo guys im need help on this thing foreal!

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Many of the things is covered in school books. Any questions you have answered your self or guessed at?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Chris, have you seen the most current model of an atom?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

WELL I SHOULD TAKE OUT NUMBERS 6 -8 BUT I WOULD SAY YES AND NO I HAVENT SEEN THAT LASTEST MODEL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7. there are 98 elements found naturally

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is pretty basic, maybe you can go on from this image

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Melody that is a very old model.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says the basic things he needs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guys thanks for the help but i really have to go i have a recording to do in 1 hr so i gotta get ready thanks i'll prolly figure it out later :)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Still old. Non the less: I'll give you some keywords: 1) Use the Bohr model for atomic structures 2) Heard of quantum mechanics? 3) Neutrons and protons (and their subatomic particles) 4) strong nuclear force

OpenStudy (frostbite):

5) I skip temp it is very hard to define, unless using quantum mechanics.

OpenStudy (frostbite):

9) The atomic mass should in reality be called relative atomic mass. key word: The existence of isotopes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u again but sorry i gave the young lady the medal remeber ladies first lol

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Hey! What matters is that you understand what you ask about! Atomic theory isn't easy! ;) beside I got all the medals I need :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL TRU WELL ILL TALK TO YOU GUYS LATER BYE :)
