An example would be putting a pot of water on a stove. Heat flows from the burner to the bottom of the water, then travels through the water by means of convection currents.

Just add a pot close by without touching the initial one.
Now, 1. Within the pot,heat travels through conduction
          2.Within water,through convection.
         3.The other pot gets heated through radiation.
