How do i do this? p(x)=-4x^(2)+12x-5, c=-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Loser66 by any chance do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (loser66):

what am I supposed to do? integral?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use synthetic division and the remainder theorem to evaluate p(c)

OpenStudy (loser66):

I don't see the link between synthetic division and the remainder theorem and p(c). To me, if I have to calculate p(c) , I just plug x =-1 into the function to get the value of p(c) so, I don't understand what you want me to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me take a pic. so you can see it
