hey!! p-type and n-type is different from the kind of semiconductor used!!

P-type means boron duped semiconductor.. N-type means phosphorus duped semiconductor.. the semiconductor used may be Germanium or Silicon.. the type (N or P) is not related to the kind of semiconductor used..
