Help! FLVS Algebra 1 question. What type of quadratic equation is represented in the graph below? http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_algebra1_v10/09_02_07.jpg a) Non-factorable Trinomial b)Difference of Two Squares c)Perfect Square Trinomial d)Not enough information

I really don't understand this!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how many times does it cross or touch the x axis?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the number of times it touches the x axis will tell you how to factor it if it never touches the x axis, then it has no real roots that can be factored if it touches the x axis once, then it has one real root and is a perfect square if it touches the x axis twice, then it has two real root and is simply a trinomial that can be factored

Thanks! this helped a lot!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck
