cos^2 x + 3sinx - 2 = 0 => 1 - sin^2 x + 3sinx - 2 = 0 => - sin^2 x + 3sinx - 1 = 0 => sin^2 x - 3sinx + 1= 0 hmm... this cant be factored are you sure there is not typo above ?????
