im getting questions like this? and its asking me what the graph will look like?

f(x) = 3x + 2

y=mx+b is the equation of a line.
m is the slope (rise/run)
b is where it crosses the y intercept
so for this one
y=3x+2
go to the point (0,2) and put a dot
m=3 = 3/1
so go up 3 and over to the right 1, make a dot, do that again, make a dot.
connect the dots and then draw a straight line through them in both directions
