IF A PERSON EDITING YOUR PAPER IS CIRCLING REPATITIVE WORD HEOR SHE IS FOCUSING ON
after the auditorium filled up we seated about fifty people on the stage
how many times you use the same word
I don't understand your question? Are you asking what the editor means by "repetitive"? If so, yes, the same word over and over in a small writing piece is repetitive- but so is using sentences that mean the same thing but have different wording, and using multiple synonyms of the same word in a small piece. This is doesn't always count for more creative pieces like poetry or lyrics, though, because repeating a word or using synonyms is often a way to keep the rhythm/beat going. As far as academic pieces go, repetition should be avoided at all cost. Hope this helps.
