can someone please give me the vertex and 4 additional points, 2 on each side of the vertex for the following equation? y=4/3x2+8/3x-8/3

OpenStudy (amistre64):

given the form: ax^2 + bx + c the x value of the vertex is equal to -b/(2a)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

pick 2 values to the left and right of that x value; and plug them all into the equation for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! would you be able to graph it for me?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the wolf can graph it for you ... http://www.wolframalpha.com/

OpenStudy (amistre64):

plug it in and it can even give you the vertex

Thanks
