what is the slope of the line that passes through the points (1,1) and (6,3)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You have 2 points.... (1 , 1) and (6 , 3) (x1,y1) (x2,y2) You can use the formula \[m = \frac{ y_2 - y_1 }{ x_2 - x_1 }\] just plug in those values into that equation and you'll have your slope

oh ok thnx :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No problem! :)
