Which function is an example of exponential growth? y= 2(0.3)x y= 1.5(0.4)x y= 3(8)x y= 2(0.7)x

y = 3(8)^x

Thanks~!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

basically you're looking for expressions where the base is larger than 1 that only happens with y = 3(8)^x, since the base is 8 (and 8 > 1) the other bases of 0.3, 0.4, 0.7 are all smaller than 1, so they represent exponential decay and not growth
