y=6x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you trying to graph this equation?

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

What is the question? Solve for x, or graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

determine the slope of line with equation y=6x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y = mx + b\] is the equation you have right now m is the slope so with this imformation can you find the slope of \[y = 6x + 1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to find the order pairs to put into graphing for this equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so when trying to find order pairs you can pick what you want to use ! so i.e lets set x = 0 then put that into the equation and we will have \[y = 6(0) + 1\] and once we solve that we will have our y \[y=1\] which will give us the coordinates \[(0,1)\] ^we got the 0 because we plugged that into the equation and we got the 1 because we solve the equation with the 0 plugged in i hope this helped you :)

slope 6
