The graph represents the total water level. So, lets look at interval 3 on the graph. The water level is staying the same, so no rain is falling. Therefore, interval 3 must correspond to B, because no rain is falling. Interval 4, the water level is falling, so water is decreasing. So, interval 4 must correspond to choice D, because the dam breaking will lower the water level. Interval 1, the water level is rising quickly. This must correspond to A, because a lot of rain is falling. Interval 2, the water level is rising but slowly. So this corresponds to C, because it's raining but only slowly.
