In variable multiplicatio ,we need to add the powers of the like variables algebraically. Like x^2 * x^3 = x^5.

well i was mostly using this to check my answer but when you add a to a^3 you get a^4 and when you ad b^2 to b you get b four because your adding the exponents because values are being multiplied, but thankyou for clarifying my answer.
