Since today is Independence Day in America, I would want to ask several questions about America. Why did Thomas Jefferson write the Declaration of Independence? Give me an excerpt from the document to support the answer. Why was John Hanwingspan the first person to sign the Declaration of Independe?

Anyway, John Hanc*ck was part of the Declaration of Independence Committee so that may take part, also there are two versions of the Declaration. August 22, 1776 is the one that most delegates signed. The rough draft was written on July 4, 1776 (which is the one John Hanc*ck signed, and he was the only one that signed that version.) a) - Thomas Jefferson decided to write the Declaration of Independence because he wanted to give the 13 American colonies Independence from Britain. Also because he had to because he was the youngest, best writer and from Virginia because they are the leaders for the Revolution. b) - Because he was the President of the Congress at the time and when the vote was reached it is the duty of the President to first sign it into action.
