you can get rid of the 1 and therefore the bracket straight away
thats right
and then you need to get 8x on its own. Then get x on its own
by subtracting from 50
well its - 50, so you need to add 50 to both sides

no he said you have to put sin 31 in the calculator and i dont know how to
depends what calculator. Usually you press 31 then sin then equals. but it may be that you press sin then 31 then equals
