Please help. I am asked to find the acute angle that the tangent line to the curve makes with a line normal to the plane at each point of intersection. Could someone please help me get started on this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could use the formula for acute angles between lines: tan(theta)=|m1-m2|/(1+m1*m2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where theta is the acute angle and m1 and m2 are the gradients of the lines

Do you have an equation or any more of a problem, or is it just theoretical?
