well... it does not state the definition clearly enough;;; lol I should search more about it lol thnx for help :)

Whenever I think of discrete and continuous, I think about lines and polygons vs. arcs and circles. With a polygon (discrete), you have distinct points around the polygon which you can count very easily (for only two points its a line segment). For a circle (continuous), you cannot really count any finite number of points that the circle is made of. It is infinitely many possibilities on the circumference of the circle! Discrete is like, you have these choices and that's it. Continuous, you have a range of possibilities and you can choose anything in that range. I don't know how helpful this might be to think about, so I just hope it is helpful... :P
