What is common to the variation in the range and the height of a projectile? a - horizontal velocity b- time of flight vertical velocity, horizontal acceleration c - vertical velocity d - horizontal acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Range = ucosA.t where A = angle of projection. Height = u^2 (sinA)^2 /2g. So R and H will vary due to variations in A basically because t is not common to both, but A is common to both. So ans is most probably A, C.

And there's no horizontal acceleration.

OpenStudy (souvik):

range=ucosA.*t=ucosA*2usinA/g [t=2usinA/g] so vertical velocity is common to both
