Need help on an algerbra assignment!!!! The graph –– a coordinate plane with a colored in, closed figure. Each segment must be labeled. 2.The inequalities –– show the work for finding the inequality that defines each segment. 3.Your reflection –– write a paragraph, of 3 or more sentences, as you reflect on this activity and your final product. You may use specific questions to guide your thoughts, if needed.

I just need help finding the inequalities. help!!! please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@goformit100 or @Loser66 or @JA1 anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im a girl lol

OpenStudy (loser66):

Ok, re write, someone helps her, please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but all i need is how to find the inequalities on the graph

OpenStudy (loser66):

now, segment CA, do you know how to write the equation of the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think we need to find the slope first right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you can tag someone else

OpenStudy (loser66):

yes, you are right for slope, do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the slope 1?

OpenStudy (loser66):

start at CA line, equation is y = mx +b where m is slope defined by \[m= \frac {y_A -y_c}{x_a-x_c}\]

OpenStudy (loser66):

yes, you are right, m =1 , now plug (5,2) into the form y = x +b to find out b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought we are suppose to use \[y-y1 m(x-x1) ?\]

OpenStudy (loser66):

nope, just y = 1 x + b and replace (5,2) you have 5 = 2 +b ---> b = 3. replace back to equation y = x +3 is the EQUATION of segment CA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that is the inequality for CA right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this would be x is less than or equal to 3 ?
