i think Business is a good path to start from. It exposes you to a variety of different fields involving accounting. You have more of a choice. My opinion :)

To be honest, business is something you shouldn't take alone.
Maybe do like ENGR or something and have a business degree. You'll get a high chance of working anywhere. They like technical people.
