Lets look at the line sloping upward. The slope is the change in the y divided by the change in the x. It's pretty simple to see that the slope is 2, and the y intercept is 2, so one of the equations is y=2x+2. Since it's shaded above the line, it must be \[y \ge 2x +2\] Now try this for the second line.
