On the unit circle, as the terminal side moves, on the y-axis it reaches max values 1 and -1 on the y-axis so amplitude is 1
After completing one full circle, the terminal side reaches the positive x-axis from where it started and then the whole set of angles and values is repeated. Full circle = 2 pi radians. So period is 2pi
