What is the equation of the line passing through (0, 2) and perpendicular to the line y = 4x – 3 in slope-intercept form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so we need to find the perpendicular slope do you know how to do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at its easy so we know that 4 is the slope of the line given and we are trying to find the perpendicular line and we do that by|dw:1373040373177:dw| fliping the bottom number with the top number then we multiply by -1 to get out slope of our perpendicular line :) now it needs to go tho the (0,2) point do you know how to solve that with the given slope?
