8-(-10)=8+(-(-10))=18 is an illustration of "adding the opposite approach" to subtraction. True or false.

I learned subtraction of signed numbers as "change the sign of the second number and add it to the first number." That appears to be what is going on in the stated problem. The second number, -10, had its sign changed to -(-10) and then the subtraction symbol was changed to +. Based on that, I am tempted to say "True." What you you think? @wwhitney94
