Part 1: Explain, in complete sentences, what it means to write a polynomial in standard form. Part 2: Provide an example of a 4-term polynomial, not in standard form, and explain how to rewrite it in standard form.

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

I believe a polynomial in standard form is one where the powers are going from highest to lowest. To show a 4 term polynomial I believe it would have 4 different terms but it would not be in the right order. Might want to double check or let others answer though.

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

But I'm pretty sure I'm right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I also think that's right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with one more?

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

Yeah always!
