OpenStudy (jenniferjuice):
x≥-5
OpenStudy (rmrjr22):
when you divide over the inequality symbol it changes
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
no.....dividing by a negative changes the inequality sign
OpenStudy (rmrjr22):
so opposite direction
OpenStudy (jenniferjuice):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
if it has an equal sign, it means it will be a closed circle
OpenStudy (jenniferjuice):
but it doesn't have an equal sign
OpenStudy (rmrjr22):
the line underneath the greater or less than sign
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
that line is an equal sign

thanks
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
do you understand about the inequalities now ?
Quick lesson.....if it contains an equal sign, it is a closed circle, if not, it is an open circle. Less then means shading to the left and greater then means shading to the right
OpenStudy (jenniferjuice):
yes yes i got it now
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
if your inequality sign has a line under it, that line means equal
