You are not converting the DNA into RNA if that is what you suggest. The DNA string is a templet for the mRNA synthesis.

mRNA is made from a segment of a DNA. rRNA (ribosominal RNA) is a two subunit (one large and the bottom one is small) which attaches to the mRNA. the ribosome contains binding sites for tRNA and mRNA. tRNA (transfer RNA) carries amino acids to the ribosome for polymerization into a polypeptide.
