OpenStudy (mikezack123):

Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation x - 2y = 4 using the x- and y- intercepts method ?

OpenStudy (mikezack123):

A. Plot the y-intercept (0, -2). B. Plot the intercept (4, 0). C. Count up 1 and right 2 from the y-intercept. D. Draw a line through the two points.

hartnn (hartnn):

while graphing using this method, we 1) plot x, y intercepts 2) draw a line through these intercepts so, which step is not required among the 4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

careful...

hartnn (hartnn):

@MikeZack123 can you find x and y intercepts ??

hartnn (hartnn):

To get x-intercept put y=0 in the equation x-2y=4 to get y-intercept put x=0 in the equation x-2y=4

OpenStudy (mikezack123):

@hartnn i knocked out and couldn't reply i live in miami, the time was about 2:00 am when i posted the question i couldnt stay awake any longer

OpenStudy (mikezack123):

hartnn (hartnn):
