Does anyone like creative writing? Writing for yourself, not just academically? What kind of writing do you like/do? What inspires you? When did you first start writing?
Last year, I took a Creative Writing class. I have to say, it was one of the best decisions of my life. I personally like to write anything that comes to my mind- poetry, stories, entries, etc. Creative Writing is the best way to channel all of those into something amazing. In Creative Writing, you learn about tangible details, specific details, and all the aspects on how to write. The things that inspire me is anything that engages my brain. Sometimes it's a song on the radio to even just how a cloud in the sky looks or what my chipped nail polish looks like to me sometime. I first started writing in 7th grade, and then that's when I realized it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I highly suggest you take a Creative Writing class if you want to take one.
Awesome~ I'm very similar in what I write/what inspires me, it's just the most random thing. I've never taken a Creative Writing class, although I can see that being really fun. I've looked into such classes, but seem to be hard to find as far as availability/affordability goes, and then also looking at what level they teach at, i.e. beginner, advanced, etc. Most things seem to be beginner, and that's just plain boring for me. Thanks for the reply :)
No problem :) When I took the class, I took it in high school. My Creative Writing teacher was CRAZY. IT WAS AWESOME. Creative Writing just basically gets your silliness going and trying to find your inner creativeness. It's so much fun :) and no problem!
Haha, the crazy ones are the best for that kind of thing ;)
