$$ 4x^3 – 9x^2 – 30x + 8=(x+2)(ax^2+bx+c)$$ now it is pretty clear that $a=4$ because you have to end up with $4x^3$ and and it is also pretty obvious that $c=4$ since you need a constant of $8$

We already know that x+2 is a divisor so that means the zero we are using -2 as our "boxed" number
