The graph of (x-16)² has only 1 difference from the graph of x² The graph of x² has a vertex at the origin (0,0) The graph of (x-16)² is shifted horizontally to the right by 16 units....so if you take the graph of x² and move it 16 units on the x-axis to the right...you will have (x-16)²
