well... i can't graph this, so here's part b

A=5.5t

250=5.5t

When you say average household, i'm just going to assume the average household is 4 people?

250= 4(5.5)t

250=22t

11.3636=t

So, it would take about 11.363 days for the average household to produce 250lb of garbage.
