6 cubes= L= 3 cubes. w 2 cubes. H =1 cube
4 cubes= L= 2cubes. w 2 cubes. H =1 cube
2 cubes= L= 1cubes. w 2 cubes. H =1 cube

I think they want the surface area that you could paint... the surfaces that you can reach

so you have to count up the number of surfaces you can see.
